What customers say?

“ This cafe is amazing! I arrived at the bus stop to catch the bus and it was right next to it. I waited until the bus left before going in (2 hours). The atmosphere is amazing, from the building and scenery to the furniture and accessories. It's very relaxing. The coffee and cake were delicious. ”

“ A nice coffee shop near Taliesin. Payment is cash only. I had delicious iced coffee and milk coffee. It tasted like charcoal-grilled coffee. It's a relaxing place with a view of greenery from the window. There are seats inside and on the terrace. ”

“ This cafe has a great atmosphere and is housed in a building dating back to the Taisho period, so you can spend some relaxing time there. It's near the bus stop, so you might have a nice time stopping in while you're waiting for the bus. ”

“ I had a cake and milk coffee set. There were only two types of cake, and the price was a little high, but it was delicious. I used the Taliesin parking lot. It was Sunday, but there was a sign saying parking was free today. (It was raining.) ”

“ I visited in June 2017. This library cafe is located on the first floor of Arishima Takeo Sanso's "Jogetsuan." It has a lovely, calm atmosphere. You can freely read books from the bookshelves. They also had a reprint of "A Bunch of Grapes," the novel that gives the cafe its name. I ordered rare cheesecake and iced coffee. The iced coffee had a soft cinnamon aroma. It seems to be closed during the winter, so it's best to check before you go. ”

“ [Order] Chocolate Cake Bitter Blend [Food Review] This coffee shop in Karuizawa has a relaxing atmosphere. Surrounded by nature, the warmth of the wood creates a welcoming atmosphere, and you can enjoy carefully selected coffee, tea, and food. This time, I ordered the chocolate cake and the bitter blend coffee. The chocolate cake has a rich flavor, and the dough, cream, and chocolate chips make it a truly luxurious dish, filled with chocolate. It pairs perfectly with the bitter blend coffee. Delicious. ”

“ This coffee shop is located on the first floor of the villa of Takeo Arishima, which was relocated near Taliesin. I visited around 1:30pm on a Monday in June. I was able to enter without waiting. There were no other customers, so I sat on the balcony. There was a wonderful view of Mt. Asama in the distance. I ordered a sour blend and a dark roast blend. They were served in about five minutes. I enjoyed the view of Mt. Asama, listening to the sound of the wind rustling the trees, savoring the carefully dripped coffee, and spending a comfortable time that made me want to stay forever. The quaint building, the coffee dripped by the elderly master, and the view that makes you forget time. It's a luxurious time to be had. ”

“ This cafe has a great location, a retro atmosphere, and delicious coffee, making it a relaxing place to visit. There are plenty of records and CDs, and relaxing music is playing. The second floor is an exhibition room dedicated to Arishima Takeo, and we were able to visit for free by showing our Karuizawa Taliesin ticket. ”
